

IP & Prototyping
Sleipnir partners with startups to identify core ideas and rapidly transform them into protectable prototypes. Our process spans research, experimentation, and IP strategy to reduce risk and accelerate market readiness.
Facilities
We do most, and often all, of the device development in our own facilities, and only rely on third party subcontracting with explicit permission from our client.
Cleanroom
Microbiology, cell biology, and genetics development in a clean safe environment. Up to Biosafety Class 2 is possible with no additional lead time. Projects requiring BSL Class 3 will require special consideration.


Electronics
PCB design, both THT (through hole technology) and SMT (surface mount technology) available depending on project stage and requirements. THT is used for alpha stage technology. SMT is used for advanced/display demo units and for scaleup stage projects.
Materials
The labs are designed with both soft and hard materials in mind. We have the capacity and equipment for manufacturing of hydrogels, ceramics, as well as metal alloys. We employ both additive and subtractive 3d manufacturing methods, and we have the ability to work on any scale, from nano to macro.

Pricing Tiers

Alpha phase
We tailor research and IP strategy engagements for early-stage startups, aligning budget with scope to deliver protectable prototypes and clear IP pathways.
These contracts range from $5k to $40k USD, and are aimed to generate a prototype or report that will function as a proof of concept for fundraising.

Scaleup phase
Comprehensive development from initial concept to prototype, including IP landscaping, patent strategy, and collaboration in advanced materials, AI, cybernetics, genetics, and chemistry to maximize protectable outputs.
These projects are most often continuations of alpha phase projects and start at $100k USD
